Trouble w/ a maytag de606
Just disconnect the vent completely and run a load to see if it makes a difference. This will elimanate the vent as a possible cause. -

Definetly needs a 120V bulb. Try your local hardware store or Appliance parts distributor. -

found: Maytag A806
Now remove the two screws from the front of the top and raise the top to access the socket. I don't have a pic but I am sure someone here will.
