Me too Thanks to all, just did the same repair on my Miele W1926. Fortunately I had bought the part a couple of years ago anticipating the failure. Was wondering if stock piling any other parts for my machine might be a good idea. Take good care.

Giant Shocks Yes indeed the W1926 is a "Little Giant" albeit one of the earlier versions. It weighs in at 227 lbs which is 15 lbs more than the recent PW5065. I think it is a very close cousin of the WS5426 model which seems to be very hard to find on this side of the pond...

New Shocks for Bertha Good day, curious to know if the replacement shocks were Miele OEM or a generic brand, and what the actual part number might be. Miele Canada wants $212 for replacemnets for my W1926 part# 4828874 Thanks...

Good to know! Joe.... thank-you for the simple yet effective instructions. I have been told that the struts are available so we will insert them and keep the units upright. Seems to all make good sense. Will update. Some help for PCB failure is linked. Take good care...

Ok....Will do, anyone here know of issues with the electronics (motherboard) on these machines? It's working well now but I have heard of people after moving these units experiencing main board failure. In any event enjoy the link and thanks to all for your advice.

Have opportunity to purchase one or the other new for same price. Better to get the larger 220V W1213 or the smaller albeit not by much W3033? Any thoughts dear Miele enthusiasts?
