    Frigidaire 1-18

a bit Gwisdalian Westy The reason why I asked this question is because the 1-18's that have a drawing of the Jet-Cone and water levels on the selector has the (Maxi) setting at the top of the agitator cap. All of the pics shows the level at exactly the area you described. Most of, no all of...

    Frigidaire 1-18

Roto204 Still waiting for that video showing the cali-king comforter in action. Where does the MAXI water level fill stops at in the tub with the agitator? What model 1-18 washer do you have?

    pics and patents

Does anyone know if there was a Pic Of the Day and or Patent Of the Day for the GM Frigidaire 1-18 washer posted?

    A Maytag Lead

But, isn't it true that a highly effective agitator is one that can continuously TURNOVER a full-to-capacity washload. The "dual-action" (2-part) agitators are not included because they're two agitators in one. The spiral vane helps push the clothes from the top down to the bottom and the flex...

    TX Sized Washday

DADoES From the pics, the jeans look like they're wrapped around the power-fin. I find that when I ball-up or roll the jeans and set them in between the space of the agitator vanes the jeans can turn the better in the tub. How about that?

    TX Sized Washday

Hi DADoES Those are nice pics of the Maytag. How many pairs of jeans were washed in that load? A video would certainly be great to see the jeans load in action.

    agitator pics

Thanks Westy I forgot to be more specific about the agitators. Your pics are excellent but, I'm also looking for the GE's Heavy Duty 18 Activator with the "seagreen" colored (4) high-vanes and (8) narrow-curved at the base. I believe the Westinghouse Swirl-Ramp agitator had a "white" and...

    Frigidaire 1-18

Hey Roto204 I remember the "Turbosweep" agitator in the Norge washer. I pick out my uncle and aunt Norge when they replaced their Whirlpool back in '83. The Turbosweep was a nice agitator, it just couldn't rollover jeans on a low or medium water level setting. Roto204 I wondered, what if...

She Was A Maytag With A Body Like A Whirlpool.

They cannot possibly get old Maytag customers back because there's nothing Maytag about these washers. They could have done so much with the Norge/Maytags. Those machines had GREAT potential. With Whirlpool's reliablity combined with the Norge/Maytag style and dependablity, instant HIT.

    Frigidaire 1-18

Roto204 If the 1-18's Jet-Cone agitator could rollover a Cali-King comforter with ease its washtub must be (3.4 or 3.5 cu.ft) in size. Whirlpool/Kenmore have some, if not the deepest washtubs in the industry. Your Whirlpool design 2000 washer tub is (3.0 cu.ft) and is 16" deep from (bottom...

    agitator pics

My two other favorite vintage washers are the 1970's General Electric with the Heavy Duty 18 Activator agitator and Westinghouse (2-in-1) Swirl-Ramp agitator with (Handwash System). Do anyone know any threads with nice, clear and close-up pic of these agitators posted? Harry

Need Pictures: Frigidaire Custom Imperial 66 - 69

Thank you Westytoploader and I thought that the "rubber" would create extra, "flex-wave" water surge Unimatic1140. That's definitely the reason why the 3-Ring Pulsator agitator can continuously turnover 5 pairs of jeans. Great information and thanks for confirming. Harry

How exactly does rubber work to make it better than plastic? From pics of the Jet-Cone agitator diaphragm looks plastic but,I can't be sure.
