    Suggested replacement for Miele W1986?

Combo52: Just a heads up—the Miele W 1986, while a 240v machine, actually uses a 120v drain pump. Miele taps one leg of the 240v and neutral to run certain components at 120v in their U.S. models. It's in the wiring diagrams and pretty common for their North American units. -- jkbFF

    Suggested replacement for Miele W1986?

Henene4, The w1986 IS 240v, but Miele, in their infinite wisdom, used a 120v Hanning pump in it.

    Suggested replacement for Miele W1986?

Hello all! I've been spending most of the day trying to find a drain pump for a w1986 that I plan on buying. Even with my two electrolux sets, I still miss my Miele laundry. I've been digging though technical documentation for several models trying to find pumps. I don't get why they only did...

    Built-In Refrigerators?

If you take care of a sub-zero, you shouldn't have problems with it... Clean the condensers regularly, make sure you don't leave spills on the inside etc.. Every built-in kitchenaid we ever sold, we replaced with sub-zeros. They seem to have issues with citrus being stored on the inside...

    Help with Farberware Superfast Percolator

I guess I should have dug further with generic terms, I guess goodmans.net sells universal parts? I was gonna ask if anyone had experience with them but I found their listings on amazon, so I'll risk the few bucks and see what shows up in the mail.

    Help with Farberware Superfast Percolator

I am reviving this because I have a 142b that I kidnapped from a garage sale my mother was having years ago. I have started relying on this unit for iced tea. Anyways, since it's been in my possession, I've never plugged or unplugged the cord from the unit while plugged into the wall. The last...

I really appreciate the replies and apologize for not getting back sooner. I have parked the ironrite where I unloaded it and have been dealing with a few other things since. I am hoping to play with him this holiday weekend and see what my new toy can do. I have 6 sets of sheets I need to run...

Miele USA W1's Water Inlet Error After Prewash

I love how there is always one post that will forever accompany a Miele related thread without proffering any support.... It blows my mind. Anyways. What is the fault code so I can do some digging? I haven't sold any of the W1s but I have all of the service materials for them.

Kds-17a or kdp-57(a?) Sump heater trips gfi

I replaced the cord winder with a cord rated for 20 amps, I'm currently using an extension cord rated for 20 amps, it's 12 awg but the gfi trips being plugged in direct or through the extension. It also doesn't trip if I've just ran it once or twice not right after each other and that's it. It...

Kds-17a or kdp-57(a?) Sump heater trips gfi

I need to source a new heater for my garage dw. Its a kdp-57(a?) I know the built in version is kds-17a because of the energy saver button. I'm running a load of bowls through it right now otherwise I'd take a pic of the tag. Anyways, if I run it more than a cycle or two and run the saniwash...

    Commercial dishwashers for residential use?

Miele has the Profi PG8133 that you can get in the 240v version, it'll run about 3299, has a 5 year residential warranty and the profi cycle is 25 minutes. There are 8100 watts worth of heating elements in the unit. It gets hot fast. It'll do a full saniwash in under an hour and a half. That is...
