I cant say that the water is rusty but I will look to see next time. It even makes noise while in the wash cycle or even when I turn it at the end of a cycle to get everything out! Its makes a RRRRRRRRRRRHHHH sound!! lol

OK so the water temp will activate the bleaching action?

I keep seeing this at walmart. Has anyone used it? can I use it on things of color? Its not like clorox2,biz or vivid.Its on the shelf with the reg bleach.

I have the affininty as well and had to deal with the stinky towels.I stopped using fabric softner in my towels and always wash them in hot water (no matter what color they are) and I use a second rinse!! Oh I use powder tide.
