I have not noticed this on my LG built Kenmore, though usually run either low soil on Normal, or Whites cycle. I will have to try this out. Warm usually fluctuates depending on load size. Larger size is cooler, leading me to believe that there is a certain amount of hot water the machine is...
That “definition” applies for Tide Professional, and is used loosely compared to standard “high” temp washes. Cold washes otherwise are 30°C/85°F for residential.
Manufacturers have been trying to reduce production costs while increasing profits for decades. Newer machines still are a direct result of that. The issue I see is that people actually buy the crap that is made and replace it within a few years willingly in hopes that the replacement is better...
See, odd enough, my KA dries better. It does have the fan dry system though. We only use heated dry in the winter for additional heat and moisture. Bosch never seemed to dry as well with intense dry activated as well. Of course, this is all model dependent, too.
Should be a very good machine. The removable filter design is more reliable, though seemingly clean as well if not better than more expensive model. ProWash is absolutely the way to go, and is very flexible. Though these models are known to not dry as well. Rinse aid will be a must. Keep us...
If it were an issue with body oil, why would it resolve when switching detergent? Mind you, this issue did not occur with using Cheer liquid either. I’m still convinced it is an issue with Persil.
As I have stated numerous times on here, TurboWash intermediate spins are anemic at best, and leaves excess detergent and water in clothes. The spray rinse helps, but the sump is not fully drained at the end of the interim spin. Thus, TurboWash leaves a lot to be desired with rinsing. An Extra...
People like to talk trash about my “outdated” 4Runner (2023), but nothing needs a subscription, nothing needs unlocked, and it works fully as designed. Much less electronic crap than the new model. Glad I bought it when I did.
Polyester seemed to be the biggest culprit, but it occurred on all items. Even washing in sanitize cycle would still result in the odor. I use Dirt Labs booster as well, so I have low suspicion it is an issue of body oil or remaining soil.
We used Persil Oxi for a long time. Worked great, smelled good, and left clothes softer than Tide liquids. But clothes developed an odd body odor type smell after being washed. It was worse as they sat longer. One wash with Tide eliminated the issue. I have not gone back.
My vote is Frigidaire, though I have limited experience with newer GE DWs. As mentioned, numerous prewashes with high temp or sanitize is annoying, but many machines do it.
Newer LG FL machines with TurboWash will perform 1 rinse. Spray rinses are anemic at best, and interim spin is slow and does not drain sump sufficiently. I always run it without Turbowash, but not all machines allow this. IMHO, best way around this is Whites cycle without TurboWash which...
