I would say the cheapest whirlpool and the Amanas, the models that don’t have the diverter in them and they run all the arms at once still. It’s not worth the money for the high end Whirlpool Maytag Kenmore KA, they are bound to failure. In my experience these cheaper whirlpools last longer...
As said before replace that inlet valve. Also make sure that the tower is in the direct center of the lower rack so that it sits above the black rubber nozzle cap of the spray arm that shoots water up into the top arm. In my experience these black rubber nozzle caps wear out and it reduces water...
Ahhhh I love seeing this thread. I look at this one every now and again to see and be reminded of the luxury we were allowed to once have! That designer white series from the 90s is gorgeous, with all the chrome trim ugh! I’ve seen one before on marketplace and it was beautiful. Unfortunately...
that arm is from my old 09 Maytag that we threw out and I saved the racks, unfortunately the upper rack didn’t fit in this machine but the upper arms from the point voyagers is the same upper arm for the direct feed powercleans only difference is that the jet holes are smaller and it has more...
I would suggest a whirlpool gold Powerclean then for your desires. It’ll have the basket in the door and possibly a long items holder above on the door but it’s rare cause people throw them out and a great bonus for the Gold models are the upper tiered rack that has a long lengthwise cup shelf...
The power scour was just another name for the Hi temp wash. I used one at a neighbors house that had it.
Yes they came in stainless steel. Several different variety’s. The mid 90s Ultrawash came in a stainless steel exterior, towards the 2000s they made an Elite version & it had a stainless...
Hi. My sister bought my grandmas condo about two years ago that our grandma bought in 2010 which at the time came with a Kenmore by Frigidaire laundry center. This condo can only accommodate the stacked washer dryer laundry center. The Kenmore laundry center is still working great and has never...
Also I forgot to mention that lately when I have plastics in the load, I open the door at the end of the heated dry and drape a thick kitchen towel over the interior of the door and close the door and it’s absorbs so much moisture, standing water on cups and whatnot and removes the water off the...
Yes. Every cycle. It’s a 20 minute dry cycle and the dishes are bone dry afterwards, if I don’t use it the dishes won’t dry easily and there’s spots. This is with my 2006 Powerclean. Hi temp scour is always used so that it does two rinses, without using that option it’ll only do one rinse cause...
No that was true Maytag at the time. Whirlpool never came in the picture for Maytag until 2006. Then in 2006 when they bought out Maytag they continued Maytags design for the dishwashers, then made the point voyagers, and next came the last good generation of the Maytag dishwashers 2015-2020...
I agree I hate the new original scent. It’s not very good. The way it smelled before they changed it last was good, but was even better before in the 2000s. Everything was better in the 2000s, detergents, appliances, cars, ect
I agree with combo I was just going to say the same thing. Find a Kenmore Ultrawash or Whirlpool equivalent, the Powerclean module dishwashers. Incredibly powerful dishwashers hence the name “powerclean” and notoriously reliable. They are everywhere on the used market. It’ll be a much cheaper...
