I would say the cheapest whirlpool and the Amanas, the models that don’t have the diverter in them and they run all the arms at once still. It’s not worth the money for the high end Whirlpool Maytag Kenmore KA, they are bound to failure. In my experience these cheaper whirlpools last longer...

No that was true Maytag at the time. Whirlpool never came in the picture for Maytag until 2006. Then in 2006 when they bought out Maytag they continued Maytags design for the dishwashers, then made the point voyagers, and next came the last good generation of the Maytag dishwashers 2015-2020...
