I'm certain it's a Whirlpool made unit -
The knob is the exact same on my DU3003XL0, and the filter grill is the same, but in mine it's blue. The tub also appears to be identical - detergent dispenser, float, water inlet, etc.
Well, I couldn't get it to stop leaking at all. If anybody wants to send a replacement pump... do it!
So, I did the only thing a logical person would do: I got another!
I ordered a used pump (I would get a new one but I'm poor people), and it's guaranteed to work. Hopefully I can get this dishwasher to work, as it is really nice.
I had to order 2 kits (leaked like crazy the first time and I had to shatter the impeller to remove it). Neither came with a centering tool, and I self-centered it and tested it with a few ounces of water. I think I may have bent the metal cup too much because I was pounding the impeller down to...
I've replaced the drain impeller seal and the tub seal and it still leaks from the impeller seal. Anybody have advice on how to get the seal to seat correctly?
I am trying to remove the drain impeller, and it does not want to come off at all. I can't break it off, because I don't have a replacement. I have already tried pulling, WD-40, etc. It even ripped through the old pump base, so it is very stuck.
Please help!
I would think it would work fine, but I'm not sure.
Probably a foreign particle is stuck in the circ. pump, and that's why it only makes a noise during the wash.
