As an FF7 Owner
I can't imagine the programming is much different in the commercial machines vs. the residential models. I going to hazard a guess that the default cycle on the machines you'll be receiving is the Normal Cycle. On mine (labeled Normal Eco) the default program time for that cycle...
Short rinses
When I was shopping around for a new washer a few years back I had my search narrowed down to either a Speed Queen or an Asko. My one main concern with the SQ's was the incredibly short rinse cycles (I watched as many Youtube videos as I could find on them). I was worried that the...
Interim Spins
I don't necessarily think it is suds-locking it's more of water-locking issue. Those flannel sheets absorb so much water that when the washer starts to really get going in the spin, more water comes out of the load than it can pump away. Which is why you see it cascading down the...
Cavitating pump
When you hear this cavitation, do you ever open the door and see if the bottom is full of suds? When I had my Kitchen Aid, some dishwasher pods, in particular Cascade Platinum, would cause a fair amount sudsing to occur and as a result, the pump would cavitate. Generally by the...
Quick Intense with Auto Open Drying
Hi Bob,
When you run the Quick Intense wash, the door will remain closed for upwards of 30 mins or so after the cycle is complete. If you don't open the door yourself, it'll do so automatically. My dishwasher has front controls and at the end of the cycle...
Miele G7106 here
Hey Bob! Congrats on your new Miele dishwasher! They are great machines if a little quirky with the loading. But once you get the hang of it, you'll be amazed at how much you can get in there. Like you I added the second interim rinse to mine as well. I included some pictures...
Finish Ultimate
I purchased a small bag of them about 2 weeks ago and have had absolutely brilliant results. Out of all Finish and Cascade products, these do foam a lot less and my glassware is crystal clear. Haven't had any trouble with dishes not getting clean, even the very dirty stuff.
I see no difference either
But I do love the bottle cap design. You can open it, flip it over and nothing drips or leaks out unless you squeeze the bottle. I saved my bottle from the last time I purchased it and decanted my Jet Dry into that. It makes filling the rinse aid dispenser so much...
My SQ FF7
My Speed Queen FL will fill the entire bottom of the tub to just an inch or so below the tub opening on all cycle except "Sanitize with Oxi". That cycle fills up to the bottom of the door for the Soak (if added), PreWash (if added), and Main Wash portions; rinses are at the normal...
Mine too
I can confirm that my 6 month old SQ FL'er does this as well. But it will do it regardless of water temp selection. I have observed that the water level stays below the door but the water level does start to climb when the washer pauses between tumbles. I guess it's conceivable that if...
Did you notice...
The Miele and Electrolux canister vacs when he goes from present day to the GE set? Thought that was pretty neat.
Since we're on the subject of Downy, has anyone purchased a bottle of the April Fresh in the last few months? I swore the stuff off when P&G ruined the fragrance...
Lakewebsterkid - Cascade Platinum
I like them a lot. I haven't used the regular pacs in several years. But these do an outstanding job especially, on my stainless steel All-Clad pots and pans. It makes them look like I scoured them by hand. I do have a container of Cascade Complete pods which I...
Tonight's contribution...
It took two days to fill her up but here is my BobLoad(r). Cycle selection is: ProWash, Sani Rinse, and ProDry. Detergent is a Cascade Platinum Plus pac.
KDTM354DSS - Closeout model
According to the Kitchen Aid site this model you're looking at is a closeout. I noticed looking at the pictures of the machine on their site, the venting configuration is different from mine; which could be why the parts diagram you're seeing has the vent in the...
