Nothing really new or exciting honestly but this guy is wrong about them coming out with a bigger top loader and I don't think they ever will come out with one. They already have bigger washers available, anybody ever heard of front loaders? I use UniMac commercial front loaders once a week...
Very nice model! I'd for certain pick that up if it's in good enough shape to replace my grandfather's trashy Maytag, he'd have SQ at both his house and cabin.
I used to use that same Persil. While I did liked that stuff, the last jug I bought was terrible. It was so sudsy even though it was HE and I was putting in the correct amount. Personally, I liked the All Original Sunshine Fresh from Henkel better. It's too bad it got discontinued along with...
I think it's great we have different brands because one can work better than the other at some places. But I wouldn't listen to what is recommended for your dishwasher like what happened with this user, I believe it has something to do with paid partnership.
Yup and what I really like is that not only it gets everything cleaned but also there's no scent left behind. I don't want my dishes smelling like soap.
Since my last post, I'm no longer using Kirkland pods cause I already found my new favorite detergent and that is Cascade Complete Powder. There are no suds at all. I also went back and got another jug of Cascade Complete liquid, I like rotating between the two but I prefer using powder.
I'm probably going back to Tide if I can't get anymore of the Kirkland kind from Costco. If so, this time I'd use the free & clear kind they brought back. Not a big fan of scents and I certainly don't like the new regular Tide scent as much as the old one. I looked at the price for Ecolab Royal...
My dream set is a stainless steel SQ FF7/DF7, should've bought one of those when I had the chance and I hope they'll bring them back one day cause that's what I'd love to get. But if I ever run across a new old stock Neptune or Duet set like what I used to have, I wouldn't mind getting them.
I've only ever used vinegar for my dishwasher once in a while, never smelled musty or looked dirty enough to buy some kind of dishwasher cleaner. And for washers, I've only ever used bleach. In fact this is what I did when my grandfather's old Neptune was at his cabin, never used bleach so not...
I was just thinking about this the other day before I saw the thread. I would have a harder time buying a brand new dishwasher. Not only I've seen some unimpressive results but also hearing quite a bit of problems the new machines have been getting. Despite that, I still don't think I could live...
I forgot about Sam's Club, I have a membership so I'll see if their powder detergent cleans the same as Kirkland's or not. Regarding the video, yes powder can be harder to break down. One time I found clumps of detergent on my socks after a cycle. But I haven't experienced any other issues with...
John may be right, it could be a very simple switch fix or wiring like this Amana for example. Speaking of which, I'm pretty sure this was the microwave that my grandparents had before it got replaced by that Sharp I mentioned earlier. I received confirmation that it was in fact an Amana after...
I'd second with John about the FF7. I use a couple of commercial Unimac front loaders once a week that's basically a FF7 with less features and they both do a fantastic job.
What a bummer, I really love that detergent. I also noticed that Tide Ultra OXI and Roma weren't at Costco today either but they were the last time I was there. I'm gonna have to look for a replacement once my last thing of Kirkland is all gone.
