Up and running Th timer was replaced yesterday and also the belts. It is running like new!

Loud noise I can stop that noise by changing the button from Gentle/Fast to Gentle/Slow. This is when it is agitating. Any ideas?

Problem is electrical My repairman was here this morning. He says the problem is electrical. The motor overheats and shuts off. He did not check the belts or anything else. Shouldn't that have been done first? What do you think?

More problems More problems with the Maytag A410. Yesterday it would not agitate in the wash cycle. The timer just clicked. When I advanced the timer to the spin and rinse cycle, it worked fine. This makes me think it is not the motor. Any ideas from the experts?
