    Hoover 0307 single tub washer

Err don’t hate me but.. Mine was so past it’s best it’s now a flower pot. Outside my washer shed I’ve used a few old things destined for the tip as flower pots. They need a clean and are certainly a talking point ! Richard

Vintage kitchen aid 1957 / uk swan maid clone hello needed.

I’ve donated it !! This was languishing in my garage which has to be emptied so it’s gone to another collector who has a second kitchen which is full of period machines. It will live there. It’s quite an unusual design. There is a copper kettle in the base ( swan maid was made by a tea...

Thanks John We luckily found a spare part. I was sure this machine resembled early kitchen aids it has the large cast iron wash arm and basket layout. I have a later version that has a different door design and a programmer but the same wash arm inside. Thanks Richard

Vintage 1972 home with two kitchens

Wow Yes that house has taste of the era it was built but I’m surprised at the price. I live in the north east of England where house prices are considered cheap. But this is an example of what you’d get up here for that price https://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/66279141/ Is the...

    Kenwood impeller dishwasher

I’m back to Als for the Bank Holiday weekend and while there are lots of the things going on I’ve been playing with the Kenwood dishwasher. This was a design award winner at the time and marketed as the best dishwasher as it was designed to fit all the housewife’s daily dishes. It could hang on...

    The Bendix Triomatic

Priceless I’ve seen Darren’s restorations and they are amazing ! That machine would be worth £ 3367 in todays money to buy. Which at todays exchange rate I’d just under $4000 US dollars! Richard
