Of the 4 wires that go to the inlet valve, there’s a white wire that connects to what appears to be a thermostat and a black wire that goes to the float switch.

Hello, Is the water inlet valve for a KDS–21 compatible with a KDS-18? My KDS-18 inlet valve is leaking. I have a inlet valve from a kds-21 but it only has two terminals compared to the four on the 18. Thanks for your help! Jeff

I’m not familiar with the GE dishwashers of this era. How do they compare to a Kenmore ultra wash or a KItchenaid of this vintage as far as cleaning goes? Do they heat the water or have a fan for drying? Thanks.
