Help Build A Profile On "Hoover Computer Control" Machine.

We had one of these from 86 to around 1990. It replaced a much loved A3110 that we killed with over work. I hated having to wait for the light to move to the correct programme. One slip and you had to wait again. the controller panel went a couple of times due to condensation as mum loved her...

Hotpoint UK Washers & Dryers - 1st Automatic to final New Generation

Loving this thread. Looking at the original 1504 toploader does it have the same timeline as the frontloader 1600? My aunt had the 1504 deluxe bought in around '75 and this had a timeline with long med short wash. The original seems different. Also the filterpan was the same as a twin tub some...

Hoover Electra D6E16 Tumble Dryer (1982)

Whey hey! There she is! I'd forgotten the organge indicator light! Such a good machine. It used to squeal like mad for the first couple of seconds and then she was away. The two machines looked brill side by side. Thanks for posting the pic.

    Hoover A3110 Electronic 1100 Autowasher

The greatest machine we ever owned. Washed for a family of seven plus guests and a pub for 7 yrs. At least 4 full loads a day. Ours came straight from the factory in Merthyr in a thick black cover in 1980... and died of massive bearing failure in 87.

Hoover Electra D6E16 Tumble Dryer (1982)

We had the Hoover A3110 and the matching dryer in glorious copper tones with orange 1/2 load button on the washer. The dryer only went one way and was black inside. It had a buzzer to tell you when it had finished and gave an intermitent tumble to creasecare at the end of the cycle, too. Ours...

ALERT! Hotpoint 9901 on Ebay UK for £5!

A3110-What a great machine. Mum had one from 80 -86. It took a beating- at least 3 full loads a day. I was always sent in to press the buttons to make the rinse hold move to spin. Mum had the matching creasecare dryer intil about 3 yrs ago when the motor gave up.

    Identify a Keymatic

Wow thanks Guys. The machine was bought from the Electricity board before Nov'67. I'm pretty sure it was the widebody machine. She was told that going to the Servis was going back in time. We moved onto a Zanussi in about 76/77 and then the greatest of all the Hoover in 80& matching dryer in...

    Identify a Keymatic

Can anyone help identify a Keymatic. Mum recalls her first washer being a Hoover Keymatic, without sloping front. A green? fascia and square door. This machine was a gift and lasted only a couple of days as it wasn't plumbed in and took too long! I've looked but can't find any that match her...
