So how does one bypass that belt sensor? The Maytag tech did not have one, still does not have one and according to him, there is no way to bypass it. It's beyond ridiculous.
My FIL bought that same Maytag "Commercial" set last year. His dryer has been non functional now for almost 2 months because of a "broken belt sensor" that has gone bad. Belt is fine, sensor tanked. Getting it repaired through warranty has been a nightmare. No thanks. I'll keep my 1976 806/808...

We have a top control Bosch and it is wonderful. It's so quiet that I have to put my hand on it sometimes to make sure it's running. Never any issues with everything getting sparkling clean, even when BobLoaded. I can wholly recommend Bosch dishwashers.
