    @ Laundress I note from the extensive catalogue you linked to over in the Super forum which you said was printed in 1948 and features the AW6 automatic washer still shows wringers but no twin tubs so maybe they were not around for that long

    GE Twin Tub The attached film from WW2 provides good watching. Seems to be all GE appliances but particularly at about 6.30 in there is a twin tub. Certainly looks like an Easy to my uneducated eye but it may have been "badged" by GE
