Nice Collection Gary! These were not as classic as center Dials, but were 10,000 times better than when Maytag sunk its boat with Norge, Admiral and Tragic Chef in the 90's.

This was not a great as the center dial classics, but certainly more durable than when Maytag started blanketing the line with Norge, Tragic chef and Admarial styled machines in the 90's.

It's a shame that Maytag quality went down the toilet in the 1990's with Admiral, Norge and Tragic Chef branded appliances, the rushed Neptune and the horrid Amanatags. Now Mexico is the new factory for Maytag....Sigh....

I meant to say, those SAV-Tags are known for severe main tub leakage.

At least they work well, and at least she bought the Norge, not the stupid SAV-tags, known for severe transmission leakage and horribly loud "Squacking" noise in the wash/rinse cycle.

How about No Auto Temp Control except for Cold Washes? You can't wash and rinse anything in any hotter temp than tepid or BARELY warm water.

Mulls, I know what you mean. I only want 5 cycles: Regular, Permanent Press, Gentle, Quick/Sweaters and Pre-wash/Soak. And I only want knobs and mechanical buttons, not electronics in case of power surges. Having said that, Good luck on those Speed Queens!
