Update. In Jan 2023, we got rid of the Haier because the brushes began to spark a lot! My parents got a Zanussi Flexi-Time 8Kg, the first brushless inverter motor machine I ever operated. It was delivered on 1st Feb 2023, and has a good selection of programmes.

No, it is definately not a Merloni machine, although I used to think it was at first. However, the slight relation between the It Wash and Merloni is that at some point in time, there were Favorit Record machines in Malta, and also It Wash with a Record label and still with It Wash!
