I just picked up a Hobart / Kitchenaid KDD-67 portable dishwasher for parts. It does appear to be in good shape. I'll be pulling any parts that go with my KDSS-16 Superba dishwasher and will part out the rest. I just needed the drain valve. If I find out that my timer control is shot and is stopping on the drain cycle (burning out the solenoid from on too long), then I may have to sell both.
I'm thinking I'll run the KDD-67 before pulling parts off. I can run it with a garden hose for fill, and just drain from out the hose. I'll video the run, maybe checking on water temperature/ heating and drying. Is there anything else I need to do before parting it to test all the components to see that they work?

I did run the KDD-67, but was not successful in filling with a garden hose in the sink attachment. It could be the fill valve isn't working, or some clog. Easy enough to test the fill valve alone though. I did put the drain valve into my KDSS-16 and it worked. The rotary timer control was the reason the old one burned out. It would get stuck on the drain cycle and run forever until I twisted the control shaft. I blew out the control, cleaned it well with electronic contact sprayer spray, then lubricated it and the motors. One last cleaning of just the contacts, then I let it dry. It seems to work well, now, ran two cycles to double check it. I may start an annual maintenance cleaning to ensure the control doesn't stick and burn out a valve solenoid again. There aren't many parts around for these machines any more.

I've parted out the KDD-67 and stored the parts in a tub in my barn. The large metal parts will probably go to the dump in a week or so. Most people are just looking for parts, not enclosures or the tubs.

The KDD-67 was a Deluxe Portable dishwasher, two buttons, Full Cycle and Rinse Hold. One rotary timer switch.
Serial number 221-123-887, Hobart/Kitchenaid. I have the manual for it also.
