  • to be honest in the modern era that is 2025 either washer is vintage old school top load front load or modern frontload or vmw or vmax model i feel its wrong not to have a warm rinse option either its a warm wash or hot water wash requiring a warm rinse (hot water or sanitize in case of sick or allergies) or simply to fully remove suds or detergent residue on clothes
    i am starting to think of ways to convince my mom that we should consider a used refurbish as new set direct drive kenmore or beltdrive like in these pics

    Direct drives are the best when they come with more features like 3 speed motor, automatic temperature control, hot/warm, soak, prewash, permanent press cool down, super wash, and the like. If you are really lucky you could find a catalyst.

    the washer in the pic if i manage to convince my mom we are better off with a vintage directdrive washer would be my first choice and knowing myself i would use the warm wash warm rinse alot and same with hot wash warm rinse

    I believe a featured vintage direct drive is the best choice. Warm rinse has the benefit in that it relaxes the garment fibers leading to better detergent extraction.
