    Whirlpool Washer Rant!

Here is GE's simple EM timer that the above design would be based on: Or as another variant, the Eaton metal timer and of course metal domed pressure switch. The timer motor leads would terminate to an external molex connector like on vintage Hotpoint dishwasher timers instead of spade...

    Whirlpool Washer Rant!

I am with you, I dislike electronics in machines. This is the timer that I'd like to see in modern top load washers: And of course the minimal level of switching involved: This would be a reality if ultimate dependability was a priority.

How To Replace The Two Speed Clutch On A G.E. Filter Flo

Well, let me pitch you this question. How many have taken complaint to their BOL GE having a shortened PP cycle as the delicate cycle? How many noticed when their two or three speed clutch became one speed only as with most every two and three speed filter flo?

    Maytag Washer Automatic Soak Cycles

Whoa! I can't thank you enough for scanning these. Very interesting to compare. The spin-spray cool downs and the soak advance to wash without draining tells me Maytag might have been trying to save water on latter models. To be honest Prefer the latter model cycle sequence to the earlier...

How To Replace The Two Speed Clutch On A G.E. Filter Flo

I remember their MOL and TOL models had a poly knit cycle the did a combination of wash and soak. Their single speed BOL models had delicate labelled on the Permanent Press cycle but with a shorter wash time. Everything including the spins were shortened on the Permanent Press cycle.

    Brand New Whirlpool Ultrawash/Powerclean

Best dishwasher ever created. I wish they still made these. With a more durable membrane and shaft seal these dishwashers would have checked the longevity box too.

Betty is Back with another Full Cycle Video the '49 ABC-O-Matic

You now, you've gotten me thinking again. When should the spray rinse begin? I've actually been thinking about having them start just as the clothes start being pulled up against the basket wall vs after the machine has reached full spin speed for some time. Spray starts at 13:01: Kenmore...

Betty is Back with another Full Cycle Video the '49 ABC-O-Matic

I remember being told by a repair tech it has to extend the life of the clutches. Not sure if its true. Ultimately, I'd like to know Whirlpools thinking, I wish I could have been the one listening to engineering decisions being made.

Betty is Back with another Full Cycle Video the '49 ABC-O-Matic

In my experience neutral drain leaves scum rings around the agi and tub, and anything floating on top of the water is strained through and thus redeposited on the clothes. Spin drain has always provided me with the best results.

Hobart Presents: The KitchenAid Energy Saver V Dishwashers - 16mm Film

Ahhh, Youtube, the biggest hypocrites on the internet. Don't get me started. Anything remotely contradicting an official set narrative gets you banned for life violating their arbitrary ever goal post shifting terms of service "spam, scams, or other deceptive practices" Yet when you go to watch...

So if one had to buy a washing machine

I will apologize. I should've bit my tongue. I will admit this was my mistake. At the same time I feel like silence is a form of agreement. I didn't want forum readers to get walk away and get the impression that everyone in the world thinks the same way. Anyway, what washer would everyone...

    Inglis citation powerclean dishwasher (whirlpool)

    Inglis citation powerclean dishwasher (whirlpool)

Real by all means. 1/3 HP and relay start so they had a kick to the. Two impellers. No drain flapper or fail or leak. Held the timer until the water was hot. Best dishwasher ever created.

Hobart Presents: The KitchenAid Energy Saver V Dishwashers - 16mm Film

Did the breaker trip on differential or over-current? Differential protection does not respond to over current, only current imbalances between the hot and neutral conductors. The leakage current to ground of older appliances is much high vs newer ones so GFCI trips are far more likely with an...

Hobart Presents: The KitchenAid Energy Saver V Dishwashers - 16mm Film

If everyone was like me these dishwashers would still be produced but with a Power Clean Filter Module and reversing motor. Only thing I would do differently is run the motor during the heating portions of the cycles at reduced element wattage (950 watts) while increasing the cycle length to...

    Inglis citation powerclean dishwasher (whirlpool)

The is literally the second best dishwasher ever made, the only ones better were the Power Cleans from the late 90s to mid 2000s which had the extended main wash and improved cycles. I'd look for the same but in used and go with that. These truly required no pre-rinsing of any kind saving both...
