What kind of kitchen ventilation do you like???

That flair vent built in is cool! We are betting on our new vent-a-hood to get it done. Installing it will be an interesting project but am excited to be able to cook for real again. The homemade frankenfanstein we cobbled together now is ridiculous.

    Thermador 1950's SS Bilt-In Double Ovens - $100 (Bridgetown)

Those are gorgeous. Friend down the street has a mid cent mod house done by the same architect pas our house but done to a far higher budget, has 2 Tappan wall ovens side by side, but one is gas the other electric. He thinks it was for sabbath. I don't know how you would get one to go in sabbath...

    whirlpool dishwashers

There really is a difference in how southern people talk to one another and how people from the north talk. Not knocking anyone it's interesting to see such cultural differences between different parts of the country.

TURQUOISE 1965 Frigidaire refrigerator bottom freezer SF Bay, CA

Fabulous! Of course I need a right swing door which is never the case 😕 and we are going to have to reconfigure cabinets above to get some room for anything over 63" I think it is. Everything in that house is for very specific sized appliances which are no longer that small. Hence the dilemma...

1963 Coldspot Spacemaster 14 bottom Freezer

Nice! And those handles are fabulous. I like how they put a tag for cleaning the filters, the idea of not keeping and maintaining an investment like that for years and years and not just throwing it out wasn't even an option. Scott made some shelves for our freezer just last week, he used the...

    Not a nutone but better!

Saw that ad for the nutone vent hood a little too late 😕 ordered our Vent-A-Hood for our cooktop a few weeks ago. The original SS 42" with external motor was long gone. And I should have known, it was taking weeks to get in, there was a reason, I ordered the 9" deep version. I needed the 6"...

New owner of a 2015 Speed Queen TL washer!

Put my hands on it.. Finally got to put my hands and eyes on a SQ TL yesterday. Mechanical control model. Very impressed with the build quality esp compared to some of be flimsy junk! I looked at at Lowes. The dealer here said they're only stocking the mechanical controls bc the service guys...
