Our Sunbeam stand mixer while using it yesterday to grind turkey just stopped. The motor would only make a humming noise. Would anyone know who works on small appliances. We are willing to ship for repair if needed.

Oil leak. Thank you all for your response. The repair man happen to be in our office and I asked him about the oil leak. He never saw the machine. I will have to see what number is on the washing machine. I really dont want to get rid of it. Its a great washing machine. Thank You

I have noticed oil dripping from my maytag wringer washer. I spoke with an appliance repair tech and he said the seals were going out and you can not get them anymore. Does anyone know if this is true. The machine works great except for the oil leaking.

Oil continues to drip out of the maytag wringer washer we have. It looks as if it drips from the inside of the post that the wringer is attached to and accumulates on the wheel and then on the floor. Can someone give me some information on what the problem could be.

Grease I knew you were serious. The other responses were useless. looked in the agitator and there was grease in the agitator. I have had the machine for 10 years and never noticed this. I really apprciate your help.

Grease When posting the mesage about the grease on the drive post it was a serious question. There was never any grease before because I always dry the inside of the machine out. It appears that the grease is coming from the base of where the post goes into the housing. Thanks for the information.

I noticed last night when removing the agitator from the maytag wringer washer to drain the water there was grease around the drive post that is in the bottom of the tub. I have not noticed this before. Does this mean that the seal is broken. Thank you for any information.
