It is the shorter wash arm it just doesn't have the flexible dividers or height adjustment which I really liked on my Mom's 1977 18 series. If anyone has this type of rack available for purchase, please let me know. I would like to replace the lower rack as well as a few of the tines are rusted.

68-69 model We moved into a new home in 69 that had this builders model DW in avocado. Didn't last long before the rusting began! I see some bubbles in the plastisol on the door of this one.

Have a new Bosch 800 series dishwasher. Interesting that the Heavy cycle takes less time to complete than the Auto cycle. Dose the Heavy cycle use more water or use both wash arms instead of 1 at a time?
