    Zenith sourced their automatics from Apex (fiberglass washer tub with water-balance pockets) and this wringer looks Apex-built as well.  I wonder if the Zenith name on appliances went away with the end of Apex in '58?  Did they build their own refrigerators or source them from Coolerator...

    You could do an overflow rinse in the AMP but it really wasn't too effective as the inner perforated tub was higher than the outer container so it was more of an "underflow" than over the top.  Dilution of the water probably would help some but would do little to get rid of the scum and...

    Good save, I had one of these LKs way back in 87 when I worked at Sears and bought a customer returned set.  Nice washer all around.     It's been too long since we've seen you Bob, that beard threw me for a second.  Looking good!
