    Who Makes These Vacuums?

To answer your first question, Cleva makes those machines. Panasonic at one point used to make the upright until Cleva took over back in 2017. But unfortunately, neither model I'd recommend. The uprights are commonly known to have problems with the direct drive brushrolls. Panasonic even at one...

if speed queen created a tc 7 what features would you see on the tc7

If we did, I'm sure it'd be somewhat similar to what the 8 or 9 Series has. Agitator separated from the tub, cold rinse only, load size, open the lid at any time, unfortunately very expensive, no mechanical timer (heard from someone at Alliance that the EPA requires all washers to be...

Difference between Home-style and Commercial Speed Queen

I once considered getting one of those E-Mech machines until I was given a quote of it compare to the home style models. LWNE22SP115TW01 - Electronic Homestyle Control $1399.00 LWN432SP115TW01 - Mechanical Homestyle Control $1314.00 SWNMN2SP115TW01 - E-Mech Control $1753.00

Speed Queen Special Military Edition Washer

I don't know. I've never seen a classic model with a lid lock, only on the TR models I've noticed.

If you have to change your washer dryer set front load washer and topload washer modern and vintage what would you need in term of features?

Yeah the top loaders aren't too bad thankfully. What would've been ideal is getting a stackable top loader like my friend's 2004 Frigidaire at his cabin for example, that way you wouldn't have problems with the dryer. I just recently got a new stackable set at my grandfather's cabin but it's a...

Do you think vintage toploads washers and front load classic drive direct drive from 1950 to 2000 before vmw models deserve a second life and be reuse

I put in other because it really depends. As what neptunebob pointed out, there's likely not very much machines left out there today and there's also likely not very much parts left to even restore one completely. Also, in today's world, I'm sure most consumers aren't interested in one when you...

    Dryer Sheets

I use them almost every time except for like towels or quilts. I rotate between Bounce and Kirkland. Then I'd take the old sheet and use it to remove the lint from the screen.

New Speed Queen Models Coming Soon!

Nothing really new or exciting honestly but this guy is wrong about them coming out with a bigger top loader and I don't think they ever will come out with one. They already have bigger washers available, anybody ever heard of front loaders? I use UniMac commercial front loaders once a week...

    Heads Up! SQ Washer

Very nice model! I'd for certain pick that up if it's in good enough shape to replace my grandfather's trashy Maytag, he'd have SQ at both his house and cabin.

    Persil Laundry Detergent

I used to use that same Persil. While I did liked that stuff, the last jug I bought was terrible. It was so sudsy even though it was HE and I was putting in the correct amount. Personally, I liked the All Original Sunshine Fresh from Henkel better. It's too bad it got discontinued along with...

    Worst *New* dishwasher available?

I've been disappointed with LG, basically pre rinsing is required or it's not going to get the dishes clean.

New Cascade commercial and Cascade Platinum Plus massively oversudsing dishwasher

I think it's great we have different brands because one can work better than the other at some places. But I wouldn't listen to what is recommended for your dishwasher like what happened with this user, I believe it has something to do with paid partnership.

New Cascade commercial and Cascade Platinum Plus massively oversudsing dishwasher

Yup and what I really like is that not only it gets everything cleaned but also there's no scent left behind. I don't want my dishes smelling like soap.

New Cascade commercial and Cascade Platinum Plus massively oversudsing dishwasher

Since my last post, I'm no longer using Kirkland pods cause I already found my new favorite detergent and that is Cascade Complete Powder. There are no suds at all. I also went back and got another jug of Cascade Complete liquid, I like rotating between the two but I prefer using powder.

    Tide Original

I'm probably going back to Tide if I can't get anymore of the Kirkland kind from Costco. If so, this time I'd use the free & clear kind they brought back. Not a big fan of scents and I certainly don't like the new regular Tide scent as much as the old one. I looked at the price for Ecolab Royal...

    dream washer

My dream set is a stainless steel SQ FF7/DF7, should've bought one of those when I had the chance and I hope they'll bring them back one day cause that's what I'd love to get. But if I ever run across a new old stock Neptune or Duet set like what I used to have, I wouldn't mind getting them.

What’s your favourite washing machine cleaner?

I've only ever used vinegar for my dishwasher once in a while, never smelled musty or looked dirty enough to buy some kind of dishwasher cleaner. And for washers, I've only ever used bleach. In fact this is what I did when my grandfather's old Neptune was at his cabin, never used bleach so not...

Dishwashers losing popularity in US Homes???

I was just thinking about this the other day before I saw the thread. I would have a harder time buying a brand new dishwasher. Not only I've seen some unimpressive results but also hearing quite a bit of problems the new machines have been getting. Despite that, I still don't think I could live...

    Kirkland laundry detergent

I forgot about Sam's Club, I have a membership so I'll see if their powder detergent cleans the same as Kirkland's or not. Regarding the video, yes powder can be harder to break down. One time I found clumps of detergent on my socks after a cycle. But I haven't experienced any other issues with...
