Is it over for Whirlpool ?

I don't know what would happen to Whirlpool in the future, but I've said this before recently and I'll say it again. Whirlpool isn't the same as they used to be anymore, I used to really like them but nowadays it's hard for me to buy another new Whirlpool product. There's like a couple of...

what could this be new model washer dryer by speed queen

According to the other thread, the DR3 and DC5 have been updated. That's it.

    Speed Queen - Coming Soon...

I wonder if this is in response to the issues the old DC5 had? I've read that if people turn the cycle knob counterclockwise, it'd mess up the timer.

    New Washer Delima

My brother's Maytag bit the dust and it's not even five years old. I already recommended them a TC5 or a used direct drive Whirlpool but it sounds like they're looking to upgrade to a LG front loader. I really don't see how you can go wrong with the SQ as I think that's the last good top loader...

"New and improved" cascade platinum and platinum plus.

I've used Finish before, wasn't that too impressed with them. They actually did the job, I too didn't cared about the scent. The ones I had leaked from the pods as they were a mess inside the container. And last time I used a pod, the Quantum kind, surprisingly it made my glassware cloudy as I...

"New and improved" cascade platinum and platinum plus.

I used to use the Cascade Complete pods, I don't anymore as the Kirkland pods don't create excessive suds. Other than that, I really loved the smell of them especially the Platinum. But now I have found that the powder works better where I think I'm going to discontinue using pods all together...

Happy 20th Birthday to my Whirlpool Duet FL Washer

cfz2882 I'm curious to see what your Kenmores look like, wonder if it's the same kind that was made around the same time as this Duet or if it looks any different back then.

Happy 20th Birthday to my Whirlpool Duet FL Washer

That's awesome! I now wish we could've kept the Duet here and brought the Maytag Neptune up to the cabin instead when we bought them both at the same time. I'm sure we would've still had them today if so but definitely for certain they're still at the cabin according to the Airbnb photos.

    Samsung 240 volt Vented Combo!

I used to really like Whirlpool, nowadays not so much. I feel like it's just another company that doesn't make them like the used to anymore. Even the Maytag Commercial top loader that despite they've added a water selector knob unlike it's predecessor, apparently I've discovered online they...

    New Washer Delima

Looks great! Just make sure you don't turn the right dryer knob counterclockwise, I've read that can mess up the timer.

    Best washers and dryers

My Kenmore 90 Series DD top loader, which uses plastic gears, has never had a problem in it's entire lifespan from what I recall. I don't think it's ever been tuned up either. Our 80's GE Filter-Flo, which we left behind when we sold our first cabin back in 2003, has since been replaced with a...

Whirlpool WTW4816FW3: Bad control board and Lowes warranty issues

I'm aware the Oasis is discontinued. But there's always the used market where I'm sure one would pop up here and there over time. Still though, I don't have plans on getting one unless if I had the space for collecting.

Whirlpool WTW4816FW3: Bad control board and Lowes warranty issues

As much as I dislike using HE top loaders, they definitely do work. My grandfather has one and as long as I put in smaller loads, it gets the job done. I was first introduced to a HE top loader from these two videos back in like 2010 when I first learned to clean out the outer bag from my...

    Best washers and dryers

I've come to a conclusion myself that while there are some nice features and upgrades on newer machines, they just don't make them like they used to anymore. The best top loader I've used they don't make anymore and the one that'd be as close to it today would be SQ. And the best front loader...

Whirlpool WTW4816FW3: Bad control board and Lowes warranty issues

When it comes to top loaders, sure I'd agree that the DD models were not only the company's best but also the best ever on the market. I own a Kenmore 90 Series myself. But I have used a different Whirlpool washer that was better than a DD and that would be a Duet, still to this day it was the...

What in the world are these speed queens?

I really like the grey! That's the ideal color I'd have all my appliances look like.

    Love/hate relationship with my Kirbys

I like the G4 more because along with the G3 it uses a brushroll that makes sweeping up better, they can easily be fitted a metal fan for more power, and they use phillip screws unlike torx. Also again I mentioned earlier that the tech drives appear to be more reliable. And I like the G4 more...

    Love/hate relationship with my Kirbys

Just for fun Here's part of my Kirby collection, I have a total of 20 currently. My all time favorite would be the Heritage II and the best model in my opinion would be the G4.
