Mike and I spent the day emptying the kitchen in preparation for the contractors arriving tomorrow. We've got a long couple of weeks ahead -- can't wait to see how it all turns out! Here's the official "before" shot!

Thanks for the thoughts! We played with the fridge placement - after many versions this seemed like the best place for it to land. It's currently to the right of the dishwasher at the end of the counter. I thought about not having a landing dock for food - but it's a small space - two steps...

And the view from the Dining Room... We are going to adjust this wall to move the door opening to make room for the ovens on the other side - the old opening between the rooms will be made much larger to allow more light into the kitchen.
