This was my M-I-Ls dishwasher.... and an excellent performer it was too. She had the unitized sink-/d/w version with matching under-sink door, as the kitchen was small, and also in Coppertone.

and back to the dishwasher... another sign of the quality here, if not the dishwasher itself (where's the KA?!) is the custom made matching front panel made to the design of the cabinets, a nice design touch. Not sure those era Westinghouse d/ws were all that great though!

Quaker Maid... as mentioned made excellent high quality cabinets from the 1940s to early '90s. The folks across the street had it in their custom kitchen. It's still made, but under new ownership, not sure the quality or even the factory where it's made, is the same though...

they mention Antique Appliances in GA... whose prices are completely insane. They typically cater to people with more $ than brains. Our yellow 57 GE Libertor came from there, and they wanted $4000 for it restored, but I got it (unrestored) in a trade for a '55 Liberator in mint condition that...

to clarify... porcelain is not paint but a ceramic coating and it can be re-done.

You can get the ceramic cooktop re-porcelained to the exact original color for abut 200 and it will look like new.
