whose prices are completely insane. They typically cater to people with more $ than brains.
Our yellow 57 GE Libertor came from there, and they wanted $4000 for it restored, but I got it (unrestored) in a trade for a '55 Liberator in mint condition that I paid $100 for on Long Island (little did they know). They even threw in free delivery and pickup as they were going to be in NY anyway! The owner John is nice but I don't see how they can survive at those prices!
There was a pink '58 40" Liberator near Syracuse recently for $100, I don't know how people like the ad poster above come up with this stuff!

Antique Appliances in Clayton, GA. They have a big inventory of unrestored appliances. You can buy these outright without restoration. I asked about a few and the prices were mind blowing. Then they get into the speel of who's going to restore it and try to sell you on their services. I get their whole business model and they stay very busy, more power to them ....... but way out of most people's reasonable price league. If I had a priceless appliance needing restoration and money wasn't an object then they would be a good choice with a beautiful outcome.
As for people who think grandma's old stove can pay the mortgage and they google for value, the result always lands them on Antique Appliances' website and their crazy prices. "Oh look honey, grandmother's stove is worth $6k!"

For that price, they could at least show pictures of the inside of the actual oven, vs. a picture in an ad. Makes me think they are trying to hide something.
