I finally got the twins into the laundry room at my ranch - they're not up and running yet - but one step closer - wanted to share how my vintage turquoise kitchen is coming together

the family keeps growing this one makes number 5 - I have given away a few others that weren't RR9 or RR10 -now to focus on the RR 10 which has the faulty magnetron- we think! Does anyone know of a member in the Dallas area that could help me diagnose it???

magnetron Should I go ahead and buy a magnetron on ebay and look for a local repairman who will work on a vintage unit? Or should I call a standard appliance repair service?

We just got back from our drive to Denver to pick up the RR 10 I bought 2 yrs ago and had stored in a closet until we could pick it up - since I didn't want to ship it. It is the most pristine unit I have ever found - and when I bought it I don't remember testing it - owner said it worked...

Chemex Have you tried the Chemex method? I don't drink coffee - but lots of people love this method - I have a big collection of the vintage ones - all sizes - and love the old instructional brochures that came with them - just a thought!

ditto - Wisk of course ... wet the collar ring - then rub some wisk onto the dirtiness - then toss into the wash with Wisk - should take out those rings
