My 1964 Magnavox I bought for $19.00 at Goodwill. Needs some work though... AM works fine. FM does not work. The record player only plays on 78 speed. It has a pretty good hum to it also. Someday I would like to get it going like new.

Too plain for my taste... I would love to see some appliances with "nice lines". Wonder what Frank Lloyd Wright would have come up with. I certainly would not do a double take if I saw them in the store. I did like the G.E. logo.

I have been transitioning to gift cards and not using my credit cards so much for purchase of food and gas. Seems to be working out well for me.

With the information that the water heater is old plus the pipe is leaking. Take advantage of the plumber while he is there. Replace the old water heater and get the pipe fixed in the same service call. The tankless system is great and a good recommendation. 

I would call the plumber. Get it fixed right the first time. Nothing worse than to have the "patch" spring a leak in the middle of the night causing flooding and further damage. How old is the water heater. Might be the right time to replace it if it is old.  Is the water spraying out hot or...

Depends on how dirty it is. If it is really bad 6 hours was the max on our Thermador oven. Remember to wipe out crumbs first.  Wipe out ash at the end of cycle when oven is cold.

My first memory of a washer and dryer were these machines.  I would sit on top while my mother would load the washer with the water going. Oh boy....

@parunner58  We had the same wall paper in our kitchen in 1970...  It's funny to see it again after so many years. Thanks for posting.
