Detergents with fabric softener built in

Oh, that's not unusual. A lot of people feel that clothes rinsed in fabric softener feel oily-ish and artificially soft.

Does anyone make console televisions anyymore?

dalangdon, how about getting Mom a beautiful wooden TV cabinet with a rolltop-style or French-door opening (the Amish outlets sell them affordably) and throwing in a stock TV, or maybe even a TV/DVD=type combo that can be upgraded later, as necessary? I'm going through the same struggle with my...

Does anyone make console televisions anyymore?

I recently bought a 30" tube set because I wanted HDTV but couldn't afford the plasma or LCD sets available. They have what are called "slim fit" sets, that are thinner than the behemoths the traditional tube sets, but deeper than a CRT. LG and Samsung each put out one model for the US and...

I think the finish products are called "Electra-Sol" here.

    Sylvania Halolight television

It's so ironic-I just bought a new LG 30" TV that was similarly advertised, in that it is a "Slim Fit" that is substantially smaller in depth than other CRT televisions! That which is old, is new again.... http://[email protected]

I don't think it's necessarily the greatest use of a parent's time, but it's a long way from being any sort of child abuse!

Detergents with fabric softener built in

It seems to vary, brand by brand. Years ago, here in the US, we had Fab and Bold powders, with fabric softener. They didn't soften particularly well-and Fab in particular seemed to make a lot of people break out-but I'd add seperate liquid even when using them, and there certainly wasn't any...

    Now I've seen it all.

But the emperor has no clothes.... Perhaps if our children were to witness the films of what happens to Iraqis in Abu Ghraib under our administration, or Lebanese children during the Lebanon massacre this summer, maybe there would suddenly be no controversies over "Youtube" films, mmmm? What...

    Tide "Simple Pleasures" Detergent

Launderess, thank you--approximately how much grated soap would I add to a full-size wash in a top loader?

    Tide "Simple Pleasures" Detergent

Our K-Mart in NJ is converting to their new format, but will remain K-Mart per the manager. The merchandise seems to be a little bit better.

    Tide "Simple Pleasures" Detergent

If any multinational manufacturers are reading this... I beg of you to bring us a "Marseille soap"-fragranced laundry detergent. (Pushing my luck now...) And maybe a similar all-purpose household cleaner?
