About Lemon Tide, Canadian all, and Persil..
My Tide Lemon-Fresh Canadian was ULTRA-formula, not regular fluffy-style. My Canadian all IS the regular, non-concentrated stuff. In the past, I had brought back huge boxes from Canada of the all in it's concentrated formula. That stuff had a great fresh smell that did not linger too long, and rinsed-out well. Since it had NTA, it was GREAT at removing the body-soil(oil and such)and was worth the schlep. As for the Persil liquid, I seem to not be able any longer to get the same formula that I originally bought in July '05. I still have the empty bottle, and it is superior to the one I currently have in the Kraft-and Color-Gel formulas! I am awaiting a reply from germany on my findings. How many guys are willing to spend the time I do analyzing and thoroughly trying new detergents from all over the world? I STILL have a box of mid-50's all detergent, that I have used a few times. it has NO scent at all! I had tried the regular BIG box of Persil powder(with perborate bleach) about 5 years ago, and did not like the stuff. My wash did not have the kind of fragrance I like-it smelled quite weird, actually! And, YES, I DID use enough of it to accommodate for our large-capacity US washers. Jay
