OMG THAT is the EXACT Filter Flo that I want to have. My aunt had it years ago till it pooped out. Now I want that machine. Turnover was fantastic, not to mention the noises....the fill.......the speed change at the beginning of the agitation.....and the wonderful kler-klunk. Lord have mercy...

Question Hey guys....How old are the Maytags in the pics on here? How long did they keep the full lighted consoles? Never could quite pin-point when my grandmother got hers. Thanks guys.

Re Grandmother's Maytag She replaced it because she was told it was not repairable. I have no idea what year she bought it. But it surely was a worker. I wish i would have known, or I would have kept it for myself. :)

God do I love that specific Maytag set. My grandmother had one...and just got rid of it last year. It was never repaired or gave her a minutes problem. She was a clean laundry fanatic....I only remember her using warm water washes like 2 times in my life...never cold. That washer stayed on HOT...

Here i am again........ OK guys. I went to the dealer that I origionally bought the Filter Flo from. I asked him all about a new or rebuilt transmission, etc, etc. He tells me that it is not really worth it to repair a machine of that age because even a rebuilt tranmission is gonna run me over...
