I have been wanting a Maytag 806 for years, and never had any luck finding one on my own. Thanks to Jason (surgilator_68), I now own these beauties. Finding the washer was a dream, let alone a matching set. They both run like a charm. It is very nostalgic for me to use these two machines...

Pierre Give it up. You have said the same thing on 1000 posts here. You wash in cold and use liquid detergents, we get it.

FWIW I use the Cheer Bright--whatever it's called. I only use 2 TBS. I do have mechanically softened water. I also have a Euro Miele (220v). No issues with suds or cleaning with Cheer. Cheer does fine on whites, just FYI. I just prefer something "with bleach". I never use chlorine...

I have that exact washer....It is only a standard capacity. Definitely not a huge washer. So, agitators, and mini-baskets are very rare. I have been trying to get a mini-basket for mine for years..... It is a good washer though, it is a 79 model, I am sure.

I have a mini-basket, filter pan, and softener dispenser set for the Extra Large capacity Filter Flos. Mine takes the standard, smaller ones, so it is totally unusable for me. Joel
