Just an update, I have tried the 2x Cold Power Liquid and it is horribly thick. I really don't like it at all. This is the Front Loader version the Top Loader is a lot runnier. Hopefully Colgate do something about it. Looks like this Homo will stick with Omo!

Ok so I have done a few loads.. I first did a load of white bath towels with Spree, the towels actually came out nice and bright considering that Spree is normally such a crappy detergent. I noticed a few suds in the wash cycle but not a trace by the last rinse. Second load was coloured towels...

And the lucky last. After this I will be happily trying and will get back to you with results

Hey Chris I tend to use the recommended on the packaging, I was at my local Woolworths today and look what I found in the detergent isle, some of the 2xUltra was out. I purchased what was available just to have a sneak peak use what i can once or twice then give away as I am not a fan of it

I went and checked it out and it seems that the new Ariel powders etc are a new formula which is turn to cool. But over here in Australia we are getting 2x ultra powders currently our dose is about 100gr which is about 3.50oz to 50gr to 1.75oz it should be interesting to see what they do here...
