Here are the wine glasses. That is until the machine has a slight off balance and the tub starts rapidly slamming into the cabinet.

Customer service certainly isn't better. We called a few days ago about the fridge and the pompous GE CARES answering service was adamant they didn't recognize the model number to our 15 year old fridge. So I called a local guy. No use dealing with people trained to get you to regret calling...

The Model T was heavily gloried. Advertisements of semi trucks resting on the machines, wine glasses tacked on top of one another, awards saying these machines saw the fewest number of repairs. Yes, that last part might actually have been true. When a Model T breaks it is cheaper to just junk...

I wish everyone knew what the Model Ts truly were and didn't go by adverting suffering from grandeur.

I do my part even if I know it won't make a difference just to keep my conscience clear. Sadly I am only one. If everyone was like me, refrigerators wouldn't be using flammable refrigerants.

Like your Maytag Dependable Cares? Perhaps if the world had been less accepting of the Model T the industry would still be selling machines like the DC brand new.

The model T was vengeance for the durability of the filter flo while letting them milk the remaining equity out of their name.

It absolutely should've gone to Whirlpool and its a borderline criminal that it didn't. The misapplication is what makes it so maddening.

Does anyone have the owner's manual? The dryer's model number isn't giving anything GE's website.

Design 2000 is the washer they are technically speaking of in this video, not the rancid model T. Design 2000 was novel and did not come from any old ideas.

    Whirlpool Design 2000...

Whirlpool had a superior suspension. They transferred the weight straight down to a tripod.

The thing I love about these is the single cycle knob. Only thing I would do is add a water level, temp selector, motor speed switch with a two or three speed motor, super capacity tub, quiet pack and dual action agitator. I do not like having more than one cycle on a knob. Does anyone know...

Don't give them ideas, I hear methane can also be used as a refrigerant.

Which resulted in the most horrendous noise. The grinding noise of the suspension followed by the screeching of the outer cabinet. To bad more people did not make their own noise about it.

    Whirlpool Design 2000...

Dependable cares can not handle a packed tub. They are wonderful machines of course, I would own one without hesitation, however Whirlpool had them beat garment in capacity. And when the dual action agitator came along it stretched that even further.

Whirlpool and Samsung are reducing the maximum spin speed on their washers

Decoys don't count as a heater or heating. Heating is very relevant when most cycles do indeed require heating to a specific target temperature somewhere between 60*F and 200*F. Looking at US machines, nothing on the control panel tells me what cycles use the heater and what the target...

Many don't, and those that do don't run in it in the majority of their offered cycles. So again, there is no heating.
