    Flair for $50.00

Same Range Opposite Coast I saw this same range in a second hand home remodeling store in south west Virginia saturday. It was $100 and looked in excellant condition. There were several Frigidaire built ins there from the 60's and many 80's top of the line dishwashers. This was near Blacksburg...

Westinghouse Terrace Range in Vancouver, BC!

Great Grandmother My great-grandparents had this exact range in the last house they built in the late sixties. As far as I know the range is still in service. Have not been to that house since their passing in the early nineties. House is occupied by distant relatives now. My first apartment...

OK Chaps, when did they start with 18" dishwashers... and other questions.

18" portable is probably convertable I would bet the 18" portable Kenmore is convertable to a built-in.

OK Chaps, when did they start with 18" dishwashers... and other questions.

Miele makes an 18" Miele has two 18" models. One is designed as a bar glaass washer with the tall glass insert included. It also (I beleive) the only model that has an exposed heating/dry element. Both models work well, but there is no discount for the lass of the six inches.

Ohh i wish it was closer..Matches the Whirlpool Dryer

Yes it is a 72 or 73 model My parents had this and the matching dryer at the beach (VA beach - Sandbridge) and it was built in late 72 for the 73 season. I was in the third grade at the time and I have already attended my 25 class reunion.

OK Chaps, when did they start with 18" dishwashers... and other questions.

My first was 18" My first condo purchased in 1986, built in 1985 had an 18" Kenmore built by D and M. Actually it was a pretty good machine. Easy to load, held a respectable amount of dishes, reasonably quiet, and did an acceptable job for someone who does not rinse before loading and washes...

    Extended Warranties

FTC "Do Not Call" List Many people signed up for the "Do Not Call" list a little over five years ago and that was for five years. There was some talk about automoaticly relisting people, but I do not think that ever took place. I suggest going to ftc.gove and resigning up for the "Do Not Call"...

    Blue Ribbon Appliances?

Blue Ribbon I think Blue Ribbon models were used by one of the freezer planss popular in the 60's. These plans had consumers sign up to buy the freezer over time and the consumer could have frozen food delivered regularly as the supply was depleted. If you signed up for enough food, you got the...
