I came across a youtube video that shows how to change the brakes on Whirlpool top loader washers. However, on the automaticwasher.org archives, Youtube, and Google, I can't find photos of what worn washer brakes look like. Anyone have photos or a link?

I was asked my opinion about picking up this Hotpoint electric dryer for a friend. What model is this and what is its approximate age? The donor (free on craigslist) says it makes intermittent squealing when drying. What's the most likely cause? Is that an easy fix on this? Thanks
