    Wolf BBQ Grill Debut

From what I've heard, the Tri-Tip was a cut of meat that was a scrap, and was thrown away. It appears to have started to be BBQ'd here, first.....in Santa Maria, CA on big oak burning BBQ's, called "Santa Maria BBQ's" or "Santa Maria style grill." Costco even sells a locally made home version...

    Wolf BBQ Grill Debut

"Sometimes it's not how you use your equipment, but So what's that saying about guys with big grills.....? Oh boy. Wait, can I compensate for that with the fact that I own the smallest pickup truck (VW Rabbit Diesel)? Re: the conversion from NG to LP. What you have to do is change the jet...

    Wolf BBQ Grill Debut

"You da Man......" Well, apparently I was today.   Quite a few people noticed how big it was.  When they gave a closer look and saw the Wolf badge, they were shocked.  Several of the dads had to come over and really check it out up close.  It was kinda funny.   So....I was king for a day.

    Wolf BBQ Grill Debut

Today was the "big" debut of the Craigslist Wolf grill. Took me about 2 weeks to get all the parts in order to convert it from natural gas to propane. The conversion turned out well and it made quite an impact today in the concession stand for my daughter's gymnastics meet. I smoked 10...

    Scored a Toastmaster

Cool find! I'm with you. Any of our vintage Americana will outlast the Chinese made junk being flogged today.......and for pennies on the dollar, which makes it even better. We use a T-9 and a Toast-O-Later. I also have a double slot, fluted side Toastmaster, but it's stored away.

    Vita Mix has landed

Thanks for the tips! I know nothing about these, so I appreciate the suggestions. I actually did that a couple of times because I could hear that it was cavitating and not really circulating stuff. I think I also turned the speed down and then shut it off a couple times, and then restarted it.

    KitchenAid Mixer Question

That is one sharp looking mixer, especially with the chord and glass bowl!

    Vita Mix has landed

I finally scored a Vita Mix 3600. Been hot for one after picking up an ACME Juicerator at a garage sale a couple months ago. I'd wanted a quality juicer for a long time, and thought the ACME would be "it" until I used it a couple times and discovered how much fruit it wasted by slinging it...

Unused Westinghouse roaster with cabinet still in orig. box

Sold for $538!!!! Man, that's really cool to see one unused and all there. I have that same model, but no glass dishes, and no owner's manual.

    A ROYAL decision

Love Royals Still have the 886 that I purchase brand new back in about 1987. I supplied my daughter's former gymnastics facility with a pair of 10amp models, after blowing the owner's mind by cleaning her entire 20,000 sq/ft gym with mine one night. She had a closet full of grenaded modern...

My new GM Frigidaire RCM-10 microwave oven

I've shipped 2 Amana Radaranges cross-country with success. They weighed about 95lbs boxed up and were just over $100 to ship...like $125ish? They had to go UPS because FedEx Ground wouldn't take anything over 75lbs at that time. Both arrived safe and sound, but I was sweating bullets for a...

    Craigslist Spoils

Yes, I'm going to keep it. I've got my Char-Broil (charcoal/wood) "Santa Fe" Texas Style Grill and my very first grill, a Char-Boil Caddy Gas, both up for sale on CL. I'll put my Weber on CL as well, and between the 3 of them, that'll come close to making the Wolf free. Not a bad trade.

    Craigslist Spoils

No problem at all that's a cute kidlet! The Wolf cooked just fine. It was very predictable, just like the Weber. There was no, "Oh man, how'd my heat get so out of control." No flare ups at all. Just a pretty normal cooking experience. While putting the yams on, it struck me that there's no...

Vintage Maytag "Dutch Oven" on CL in my area

Yeah, I thought it might be something special. If anyone here wants it, it's 35mi south of me. I'm happy to pick it up and hold it for you, or for your truck shipping company if you can't pick it up in person. I could also be hired to bring it to San Fran, Sac, LA, or San Diego.

    Craigslist Spoils

Trust me, the first time you cook on a Weber, you'be thinking, "What the heck have I been using THAT THING for, all these years. T-minus 6hrs and counting for those New Yorks!
