Thanks everyone ! 1. The buttons on the dryer are only "heat", "no heat", and "start". The dial controls the dryness level. 2. The model number is S-6605902C. I'm guessing by the first two digits that it's a 1966 model. 3. Yes, I also hope that I can get it up and running with a minimum of fuss.

Well, plugged her in and got the Lady all hooked-up. I got her to spin so I know she works. However, when I went to start a cycle something strange happened. The control panel light would only go on when I pushed the second rinse button. So maybe a short. When I started the cycle it didn't do...
