Carefully remove the Water Bellows trying not to tear or pun and it will reveal the Oil Bellows. Again it is held in place at the base with a retaining ring (C-Clamp method again) around the upper portion of the tub nut.

Here's the C-Clamp Method I'm using a C-Clamp that I filed grooves into to keep the clamp from slipping off.

Lift off the pulsator.... and it will reveal the Water Bellows. The bottom of this bellows is held on by the retaining ring at the base of the inner tub. Use the bellows clip remover or you can use a c-clamp like I did.

Here you see (a little blurry)... the contact side of the switch. It's hard to see but the lower set of contacts were pitted badly.

Well, I could just vomit....... (davy1063's WCIL)

Here are pics of the switch here you can see the switch (with the little arm missing). There is a spring-metal follower which attaches to that bakelite piece. What I did is drilled a pinhole thru the bakelite, put the follower back on and retained it with a wrap of fine wire through the pinhole...

Screw the motor repair shops!!!!! I FIXED IT... I give glory to my Dad and my inheriting his mechanical skills. I found where the errant spring went on the centrifugal start switch and I filed and adjusted the contacts. I'll take a vid tomorrow. I NEVER thought I'd see that machine run...

Well, I could just vomit....... (davy1063's WCIL)

I finally got the nut off, got the mechanism out perfectly. That’s the good news. Now the bad.... The motor is shot. Period I tested the unit out of the washer. It looks like the motor was worked on before due to the scoring on the heads of the screws. I looked at the start switch on top of...

    1967 WCIL Problem

Water Bellows... Rich, it might be a good idea to replace the water bellows since there is evidence of water infiltration. Does the motor use the same start windings for spin as agitate? I'm trying to narrow down issues like: 1) timer 2) capacitor (if any) I'm going to make a cheater cord to...
