In my last post I meant overload ... not overlode.

gsd-dan, I think it broke apart and went through the drain holes. I never overlode the washer to the point that anything can go over the top of the inner tub. I also watch every load as the washer washes them.

A paper towel went through my GE Filter Flo pump. At first I thought it was the transmission having trouble with the reeling sound it was making during the spin cycle but later it started to spit the towel into the filter pan and out the drain hose. After that it went back to normal operation...

I'm just curious about a GE Filter Flo washer. Where is the tub brake located on this washer? There is no problem with the washer, again just curious. Thanks all.

Can you operate the water temperature switch on a washing machine while it is filling with water without any harm to the switch or is it better to stop the filling first? Thanks.

I see that some folks use PineSol or other brands of pine cleaner in their wash. Might that be a good alternative to chlorine bleach since they both kill germs? Any thoughts?

Thanks Repairguy. It was the pressure switch. Once I got inside the washer, it took 10 minutes to change it. Works as it should.

Does anybody know of a product to move a washer from room to room? Maybe something to put under the legs?

My Kenmore 400 DD washer started overfilling today. I took the pressure switch tube off at the bottom of the tub and put air pressure into it and the pressure switch clicked as it should. Any help is appreciated.

Hi folks. Is there any way to change the transmission oil on my Maytag A208 washer without pulling the transmission out of the machine? The transmission is the older Pittman style (non orbital). Thanks.

Thanks GELaundry4ever, but what I mean is would the slower spin speed be easier on the washer?

My Filter Flo has a normal and gentle spin speed setting. Should I set the spin speed on gentle to make it easier on the washer or should I just leave it on normal spin? Thanks in advance for your help.

I forgot to add on yesterdays post that I get 75 to 90 minutes on my EGO mower. That is with using the self propelled drive about two thirds of the time.
