I have a Whirlpool Duet but it is great to watch your Westinghouse and to see when a front loader had a decent amount of water for good splash action. Sometimes, I open the detergent drawer on my Duet and run a hose to add more water. Ross

What gets me is that our washing machines are being affected by all this green hysteria. I have seen top loading Kenmores which do not have a water level control. It is all pre-set in the washer's computer. Why can't I have the option to control the water level in my Whirlpool Duet? I pay my own...
