    cool table I will venture an educated guess your machine is about a 1963 or 64 vintage. I bet that it could be made to work correctly again with just a thorough and deep internal lubrication. Thanks for showing it.

    hauling in a hatchback I have hauled many machines in my 1993 Mazda 323 hatchback. I am quite sure that the antique Bendix will easily fit into your car and it truly is not that heavy. I say go for it !

    thermal expansion hole My maytag wringer has a clearly visible weep hole or possibly thermal expansion hole on the top of the gear box . You can take off the roller water remover though just by lifting it straight up. I would not recommend turning the machine sideways. Keep it upright.

    over 25 years old ? Although I have never seen such a machine I bet it is not over 25 years old - which means you are probably posting in the wrong forum. Most likely it is less than 20 years old and should be in the deluxe forum.
