    Why a Miele?

    Miele W3033 Here is my W3033 washer I got just over 1 year ago. I 100% love it and would not trade it for anything! It was pricey, at $2000.

    Maximum Water Level Jerrod, I've not had to permanently set the maximum water level setting since our water here is fairly hard. According to the service manual, this is for soft water conditions. There are a couple of cycles which do use maximum water level, one of those is Delicates. I...

    Miele W3033 Video Blog

    Hi everyone, I wanted to share the link to my video blog of my Miele W3033. I've got a few on there and the most recent is a 45 minute video of washing table linens from the holiday. At the bottom of the page, there is an "older posts" link to take you to the older videos. I enjoy watching a...

    Quick fix for leaking rinse aid dispenser

    Same problem! Mine has been leaking for about 6 months also. Apparently the O-Ring has shrunk or something. I'll try the fix you did since they want $13 or so for a new cap and I'm being cheap. I'm planning to replace this dishwasher with a Miele soon so I'm not spending much on it.

    Plant Identification Help

    Thanks!!! - Another to identify Tom / Chris, Thanks so much - I can take care of a lawn, but house plants are pretty new to me. Tonight she brought me one more that she said she left in her garage and it looks like it's starting to die. I gave it some water and I think it'll be ok. Any idea...

    Plant Identification Help

    My neighbor lady gave me 2 potted plants that were in a funeral flower basket for her mother. I'm not sure if these will survive in the house, what they are, or if they are toxic. My dog just sniffed them, but I want to try and figure out what these are before I determine if I should keep...

    Removal of Cycle Selector Knob on LG WM2050

    Knob Removal You have to remove the control board from the back of the facia and then you can pull the knob off the board. I found this out when I tore apart a LG WM2010CW. Andrew

    Coal Tar Epoxy Nice!!! I was thinking of truck bedliner, so your idea wasn't too far off! This should really protect this spider from the elements inside the washing drum it's exposed to. Great idea!!! Andrew

    Under The Hood - 2010 Year Model W3033 Here is a 2010 Year Model W3033 under the hood - a few simalarities - I wanted to note about voltage. The new ones apparently have a step up transformer so the US can run off of the same 220 volt UK components. Saving Miele cost of making both a 110 and...

    Spider Sealer Mike, Good idea on sealing the spider - probably wouldn't be able to keep all of the water off the spider due to cracks, wear etc, but it might keep the spider from getting to the dire state this one was in. One thing I guess we should keep in mind is we have no idea how this...

    Proposed Design Change What changes do you have planned on the design? What I don't understand is why the hell manufacturers make spiders out of aluminum. They sport stainless steel drums, offer 10 year warranties on the motors (LG), yet they make the spiders out of materials that corrode...

    Everyone meet Horsey->LG

    Very sad I'm glad I got off of the LG bandwagon when I did and traded up for my Mieles. Now I feel guilty for selling my LG's to the people that I did! For reference, link below is of Thread # 30834 showing the Miele spider durability. Miele is one of the few brands that would last in my...
