In regards to furnace filters, they all are 1 month filters regardless of the MERV or FPR rating. There’s claims they can last up to 90 days, but that’s if you don’t use your furnace or air conditioning very often, or is in that transition period where you don’t need heating or air conditioning...

One of the biggest gripes (I’m sure a lot of people will agree with me on this one) is sliding windows, can’t really put a window fan or air conditioner in without having to cut out a piece of plywood or rig something up.

Since the weather is cooling/ramping down soon since fall is right around the corner, do any of you guys use window fans (or fans in the window) to bring fresh air in or not? I usually use some window fans myself to bring in fresh air in the cooler spring and fall months.

The machines and appliances they made many years ago were made for customers, not consumers. When consumers have a say (a focus group), everything goes down hill.

If the Maytag A9700S is from 1993, it will fit. If it’s newer than 1993, not certain if it will fit or not.

May remember the Maytag 806’s as well from that era.

I imagine the ‘drying temperature’ was determined by the load size. Probably tapered down quickly with smaller loads and delicate items, definitely took a good while with towels and bedding.
