Kelvinator Washer And Dryer Sales Training Video

I think Kitty Forman on "That 70s Show" had a Kelvinator refrigerator.

    Money for bad dishwasher board.

Oh in the Spirit of Christmas I think you 2 should call a truce over all this until maybe December 27. Merry Christmas to you! Both of you be sure to have a fiber supplement with your Christmas Dinners!

    Low temp dryer thermostats

Maybe heat pump dryers might dry at that low a temperature.

    Whirlpool Design 2000...

It was mentioned in the film that there would be an expansion of the facility in 1986 which is likely still there, maybe even more as they build more than one brand.

    Whirlpool Design 2000...

I don't think any advertising directed to consumers made any mention of a new drive system. People who went to Sears to buy a new Kenmore had no idea the new washer they were going to purchase was much different than the belt driven machine they just put out on the curb. I wonder if some...

    My brother got a Samsung

So, did you ask him "What did you do that for!?!"

    Whirlpool Design 2000...

But still I wonder: Back in 1985/6 did any consumers even notice a difference between the belt drive and the direct drive? I kind of think not, though probably notice that the DD agitated furiously. Combo do you know?

Looking For a New Double Door Fridge

Do you mean a side-by-side? If so, Consumer reports recommends a GE model. If you want the ice and water through the door, which I like, it is better to have a side-by-side rather than a French door because the ice maker is in the freezer. You pay a lot less than a French door too.

    New Classic Vintage Osterizer Blender

I thought VitaMix is supposed to be a commercial version of a blender for the home. Blendtec is supposed to be too, but I remember Consumer Reports said they had a bad repair record.

KA-WP appliance merger in the '80s

Sometimes on Facebook I see an ad for a Hobart undercounter dishwasher that has what appears to be 2 racks that look like a residential dishwasher. The background of the photograph is maybe a nursing or personal care home. Could it be that Hobart is "feeling out" if there is a market for a...

    Whirlpool Design 2000...

This group might think direct drive is the "greatest washer success in history" but back in the 80s most consumers did not know of any difference between a DD Kenmore or Whirlpool and the belt driven one they put out on the curb. Oh, the opening was larger but mostly the machines looked the...

    The Maytag Atlantis

Did Maytag make the Atlantis "less aggressive" on clothes than the Norge machines were? I would think so.

Buying a new Toilet this weekend - Any advice?

Actually it is Metamucil and good to take it every day. Matt, your friends know you before Metamucil, they will prefer you after!

    GE Potscrubber

I guess around 1995 Jack Welch got to the appliance division and started cheaping out the dishwashers.

    Time For a New Furnace

maybe the fact that a furnace has to coordinate with a thermostat, air conditioners and heat pumps has something to do with needing the electronics.

    1978 WP Commercials - 16mm Film

I noticed they mention that the microwave oven will start when the cook is not there, a "delay start". Consumer reports didn't like delay start in microwave ovens because they were bad for food safety, uncooked foods could spoil before the microwave comes on.

    Time For a New Furnace

Actually Chet, what you describe is complicated and is why modern furnaces have electronic controls. Also the electronics make the high efficiency possible and enhance the safety of the equipment. Chet, what kind of engineer were you? It sounds like you could be an electrical engineer, who...

    HOW ABOUT THIS NUTTY PRODUCT?

So Matt, you don't believe in daily fiber, even though it is "Doctor Recommended"?

what would be your choice of vintage dishwasher to install in a modern kitchen if you do not went something modern or with manual filter to clean

Actually, eventually, there were GE Kenmore units, but usually the lower priced dishwashers. These were made of solid plastic.
