This particular set was built in 2002. Whirlpool used kitchenaid as their premium laundry products from 1986-2006 when they purchased Maytag it replaced kitchenaid as the premium line. The turquoise agitator was replaced by a white one in the mid nineties.

This is a cool rare set. They are 1992 models. The rarity is that the washer is a water saver. I’ve never seen one of these particular models.

If someone else hasn’t taken hm up on his offer already. These OEM kits got rare really quick after whirlpool discontinued them.

There is a member who offered you one in reply number eleven in your post about the transmission shaft.

The center post definitely looks rough. That is one of the reasons these machines get scrapped these days. You’ll have to remove the rust from it to see what’s left as to whether it can be repaired or will need to be replaced.
